La Vonne Koester of Alta Loma California was killed in a tragic cycling accident in Thermal California. The cause of the fatal bicycle accident is still under investigation. The victim was competing in the Tour de Palm Springs cycling event. This is a very tragic cycling accident and a accident that strikes very close to home. I am a avid cyclists and probably biked many of the same cycling paths as the victim. In fact, i was going to ride in the Tour de Palm Springs except i had a prior conflict that kept me out of the event. Our condolences go out to the victims family and cycling friends and community.
